I believe that at the center of every wedding day is a holy and sweet covenant, and that every moment is important enough to be documented. That's why you'll find me shooting every moment of the day. I get all the big things, of course- the first kiss, family group shots, the grooms reaction at seeing his bride, the details- but I also get all those in between moments that you really want to remember. Ones like momma crying for her baby getting married, the flower girl throwing a fit in the corner, the maid of honor's joyful reaction at seeing her best friend look oh-so-radiant, the groomsment acting like goofballs, etc. Those are the moments I live for and why I do what I do.

Photography + Video

Recently, I've discovered a love for videography alongside photography. My still images are driven by a love for motion, movement, and feeling, so it makes sense that I would love the video side of things. Video is a beautiful way to look back on the day and relive your love story. Video packages include a teaser trailer and a cinematic highlight video for you to share, cry over, and watch again and again.

What to Expect

On wedding days I am about half hands on and half a fly on the wall. I usually hang back and document things as they are happening, until I envision a shot that will have that WOW factor- then I step in and rearrange things to get those timeless shots. I like to consider myself a "friendor"- because I'll be one of your hired vendors but I'll also treat you like a friend. I usually cry for you at least once on a wedding day.

Portrait sessions are a whole lot of fun. We'll brainstorm outfits and locations for you guys, and then we'll have a blast when we start shooting. I use guided prompts to get natural shots when shooting rather than stiff posing techniques. Of course, I'll get those classic smiling at the camera shots for mom, but I'll also get a ton of authentic and genuine shots of the two of you just doing your thing.
